健二(Kenji): He try to answer questions of SUMI, but he is an ordinary Japanese man, not a teacher or scholar. He is the writer’s alter ego.

健二: 形が変化した漢字もあるね。
Sumi: I can understand a “人” and “金” change. But, why is “水”?
澄美: 「人」と「金」の変化はわかるけど、「水」はなんで？
Kenji: … I only say, I’m not sure.
